Senior Finance Manager, Hyperion Administration

– Hyperion Administration, you will be responsible for supporting finance function by maintaining and enhancing functionality of Hyperion applications and providing financial reporting and analysis solutions leveraging Hyperion applications.This position requires a very good understanding of general ledger, financial/accounting transaction flows and how they are reflected in the financial systems and reports.This role requires strong leadership and communication skills combined with hands-on system and analytical skills.

This person is eager to identify and implement improvements and develop and lead the company’s Hyperion strategy.Accountabilities & Responsibilities:* Maintain and enhance functionality of Hyperion applications (e.g.

ensure integrity of financial metadata, accurate and timely transfer of data between systems), which include Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning and Workforce.* Provide world-class, automated financial reporting and financial analysis solutions (e.g.

income statement, cash flow, functional cost reporting, segment profitability reporting), based on Hyperion/Smart-view, leveraging other Oracle applications and reporting tools (e.g.

ERP, OAC).* Provide training and support to finance function associates on the optimal usage of Hyperion functionalities.* Develop and lead an execution of Hyperion and financial reporting systems strategy, to ensure optimal, lean and automated financial reporting and planning processes.* Maintain design, structure, and processes of Hyperion applications to support financial reporting and analysis as well as key financial processes such as budgeting and forecasting.* Ensures that the design of structure aligns with other financial processes and systems as well as how the business operates to support decision making.* Prepare data summaries necessary to present data for review by finance and other requesting departments.

This includes but is not limited to standard financial reports, dashboards, visualizations, business scorecards.* Liaise closely with IT to drive improvements in application environment and business processes.* Ensure finance is adding maximum value to organization by leading the effort of solving process, reporting or system issues with business partners.* Serve as thought leader for financial information reporting and analysis.* Develop and maintain training program, work instructions, and documentation for Hyperion systems.* Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.* Performs other duties as required.Education & Experience:* Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required; finance/accounting degree preferred.

Relevant Oracle/Hyperion certificates preferred.

MBA or CPA preferred.* Minimum Experience:* 8+ years of finance/accounting and financial systems experience.* Expert knowledge and experience with Hyperion Financial Management, Planning, Workforce, Smart-view, Essbase.* Strong understanding of chart of accounts and financial transaction flows, preferably in a manufacturing organization* Experience with Oracle ERP and BI tools preferred* Background with multiple entity and multiple location businesses, including international exposure.* Experience with actual reporting, forecasting and budgeting.* Manufacturing experience desired.* Experience with SEC reporting a plus.Knowledge & Skills:* Specialized Knowledge: Strong analytical skills and attention to details required.

Demonstrated ability to work under deadlines.* Special Skills: Excellent skills in verbal, written, and presentation communications to all levels and types of management, including translating technical concepts/issues to business functions.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint).
