Completion Bonus $4,000:Paid after the successful completion of 18 consecutive weeks ofemployment while meeting all shift requirements during that timeperiod.

Only one (1) completion bonus will be paid per 36 weekseason.

Work Schedule: PRN (must be flexible).

All Seasonal RNs arerequired to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during theseasonal period.

Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 weekschedule period.

During the course of the 18 week period, theemployee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts.

Within a closegeography, you may be asked to float to another facility that hasan emergent staffing need.

The Operating RoomRN provides direct nursing care in accordance with establishedpolicies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.The tasks and responsibilities include: * Assesses plans andevaluates patient care needs.

* Carries out physician orders.

*Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleanswounds, monitors vital signs.

* Serves as the primary coordinatorof all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.

* Monitors,records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizingcomputerized documentation systems.

* Instructs and educatespatients and families.

* Assesses and coordinates patient’sdischarge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

*Provides age and culturally appropriate care..

* Follows StandardPrecautions using personal protective equipment as required.Qualifications Required Job Qualifications include: * Positionrequires at least 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room Unit within a hospital setting * Current Texas RN license * CurrentBLS certification issued by the American Heart Association *Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing * Customerservice abilities including effective listening skills * Criticalthinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work withminimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
