7AApplyingthe standards set forth for nursing practice by the American Nurses Association(ANA), the Labor and Delivery RNwill organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan ofcarefor pre and post-obstetrical patients.?

Plan, implement, revise and delegate nursingcare?

Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through education, expertise,and unit requirements?

Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practiceOnthis fast-paced 21-bed L& D unit, you will providecare to low-risk andhigh-risk antepartum patients to include multiple gestations, pre-eclampsia andeclampsia, and mothers with complex diseases.

You will assist with vaginaldeliveries and recovery, triage outpatients, and circulate during cesareanbirths.

In addition to amazing nurses,our team includes an onsite 24/7 OB/GYN, Neonatologist, and Anesthesiologist.SEASONAL STAFF PROGRAM [Runs through April 24, 2021] Musthave two (2) years of current Antepartum/Labor & Delivery RN experience Pay Rate: $57/hourAcompletion bonus of $4000 to be paidafter the successful completion of 18 consecutive weeks of employment whilemeeting all shift requirements during that time period.

Only one completionbonus will be paid per 36-week season.ProgramRequirements?

All Seasonal RNs are required to work aminimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.

?Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility thathas an emergent staffing need.


Four(4) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.?

Duringthe course of the 18-week period, the employee is required to work two (2)holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).?Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off.There is no guarantee of hours by the hospital.


SeasonalStaff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirementcontribution per the PRN policy.?

Allseasonal RNs will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competencyevaluation.

?Current FT, PT, and PRN Level 3 employees are not eligible to join the Seasonalprogram.?

Shiftsmay vary based on the needs of the department.Medical City Plano is afull-service, Magnet-designated 600+ bed acute care hospital with more than2,070 employees.

ADN required / BSN preferred?

Texas RN license or compact license isaccepted?

Current BLS issued by the American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross required?

Current NRP required?

Current AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring ?
