Job Title Azure Security Engineer Location REMOTE (Client is located in Richardson, TX – Consider this as remote for the near future and long term as well. They might need resources occasionally onsite in office if needed after COVID. Client will cover the expenses in such a case) Duration 12+ months contract Skill Requirements – Azure Cloud Security Engineer – Partner with a Lead Cloud Automation Engineer to develop a cloud application that will assess the compliance of AWS and Azure environments against a set of internally managed requirements (including external standards like NIST 800-53 and internally defined requirements). Qualifying Questions – Are they A ? – Do they meet all the requirements listed? Description Of Services – Partner with a Lead Cloud Automation Engineer to develop a cloud application that will assess the compliance of AWS and Azure environments against a set of internally managed requirements (including external standards like NIST 800-53 and internally defined requirements). – Provide expert guidance on AWS security controls and best practices. – Determine the best way to automate compliance assessments on AWS platforms for a collection of internally-managed requirements. – Encode assessments as custom logic and configurations within the overall compliance assessment application. – Support product specialists maximize the use of vendor-developed products to perform compliance assessments and incorporate those products into the overall cloud compliance application. – Develop custom automation to perform compliance assessments on AWS platforms. Deliverables – Three years of experience developing cloud applications that automate security and compliance assessments for Azure platforms and workloads. – Expert knowledge of Azure cloud security controls and best practices. – Azure professional certifications preferred (Security Engineer, Developer, Architect) – Experience integrating applications with vendor-developed products and internally-developed systems. – Proficient with Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies. – Experience operating in US Government regulated environments with strict compliance requirements Regards, Sunny
