Staff Systems Engineer

Our location in Plano, TX currently has an opportunity for a Staff Systems Engineer.

The Staff Systems Engineer will use their in-depth knowledge of Systems Engineering to work with a team of engineers and clinicians to develop safe and highly effective new products for our Neuromodulation systems platform.  You are responsible for establishing requirements strategy & building plans, designing the user experience thru constraints, establishing user work flows and use case, defining data-driven System and Product requirements and conveying the patients perspective & the technologies clinical value throughout the organization.

Generate intellectual property.


Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field.

8+ years’ experience in Engineering.

Experience in new product development.

Experience eliciting customer and user needs and translating those into systematic requirements.

Experience establishing multi-level requirement strategy.

Strong verbal and written communications & excellent teamwork skills Proven ability to cultivate collaboration across disciplines and divisions to ensure timely project success Experience working in a regulated environment.

Fluent in INCOSE best practices.

5+ years’ experience as a front-end Systems Engineer.

Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or relevant technical field.

INCOSE CSEP / ESEP certification.

Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE).

Experience implementing various product and process improvement methodologies such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Quality Function Deployment (QFD) .

Experience with electro-mechanical and software integration and application technologies.

Previous experience with consumer wearables and/or biometric sensors.
