HPE has both legacies, and new technology in the landscape.HPE is looking for a Release Cutover Lead with experience in release management, cloud migration, data center migration, performance and regression testing.

The purpose of this role is to lead the cutover activities of an Organizational data center, cloud migration, ensure the applications pass regression test and meet the performance requirements defined by the business, achieves the organizational goals and enhances our IT capability.This role will require extensive experience in Release, Cut-over, regression and performance of enterprise applications.

The person works closely with the development and operations teams to deliver accurate and efficient deployments, and identifies areas where automation would help streamline process.

Experience with monitoring at application and business process level and ability to translate key messages to the IT and business community.

This role should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and excellent coordination skills.ResponsibilitiesRelease Cutover planning and execution, which comprises of the creation and execution of a detailed move to production (MTP) schedulePlanning and execution of mock cutover and  final cutover rehearsal (Simulation) prior to the production deploymentGovernance structure, stand-up, planning, and executionIT downtime (blackout) planning and coordination with IT and business teamsEnsuring the applications in data center move groups are regression and performance tested and ready for cutoverCoordination of technical environment preparation (including end user system access)Coordination of master data loads and validations (including simulations per the Project schedule)Single point of contact for coordinating  all release planning activities with workstream/ sub-workstream leadsFacilitates alignment of IT and Business release plans including downtime/blackout windowsMonitors and tracks release related risks and risk mitigation plansProvides updates to leadership team on release readiness and cutover statusBuild, maintain and execute organizational IT change and release calendar working with the System IndicatorsGolden transaction planningProactively search for symptoms and patterns and provides recommendations or solutionsWork with different technical teams, consolidate the information, and report results with all the platform layersEnsures the successful installation, integration, and deployment of products in various non-production and production environments while maintaining quality and superior end user satisfactionValidation of the release package that includes regression and Load & Performance testTransition / handover to Hypercare/operations support teamCoordination with internal stakeholders and System IntegratorsEducation and ExperienceMinimum 6+ years of experience in SAP environmentMinimum 10+ experience with the release management/Cutover/Application Monitoring/Service transition processes and implementationExcellent written and verbal communication skills required; ability to communicate with individuals of all levels (technical and non-technical) and ability to break the organization silos.This role will require weekend and after hours availabilityCloud and Datacenter migration experienceAbility to work with large extended teams distributed globallyKnowledge and Skills10 or more years of experience in IT that includes development, release deployment, testing tools and end-to-end multiple full release cycles.ITIL certification preferredSAP S4 experience preferredCloud or Datacenter migration experience preferredGeneral Technical Project Management.
