The possibilities of what we are doing with sensor technology and the roles sensor technology plays in the IoT within safety and productivity solutions are limitless, and we strive to transform the business from one which is focused on sensors to one which really allows us to enable the Internet of Things.Key Responsibilities:The Director of Customer Marketing (North America) is responsible for leading, managing and directing the entire product marketing related activities within the Honeywell Advanced Sensing Technologies business.

This is a regional role, highly focused growing business results with large, global OEM customers primarily serving the aerospace, industrial, medical, and transportation sectors as well as driving growth within the distribution channel.The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with customers in these areas, including the business practices, lifecycle management, and regulatory/industry compliance practices such as global export compliance and managing complex multi-year contractual engagements.

Experience in working effectively in a multi-channel selling environment is critical.

As part of the extended leadership team, this role is also responsible for positioning the Honeywell Advanced Sensing Technologies business to meet its long-term business goals and objectives.

At Honeywell, product management is accountable for the product line strategy, profitability and growth.The successful candidate will work closely with sales and Global product marketing teams to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.

Bottom line, they own the product plans, strategy and profitability for their region.+ You will be accountable for developing a regional strategy, achieving financial goals and driving customer intimacy with top strategic and key accounts.+ You will work closely with people at all levels of the organization to maximize growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio.YOU MUST HAVE+ Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Marketing Discipline+ 5 years of leading or managing teams (Product Management and or Sales) experience+ 5 years of Product Marketing experienceWE VALUE+ MBA preferred+ Candidate must have significant P&L experience (Minimum of $300M plus)+ Extensive years of experience in product, customer or strategic marketing+ Experience with Product Market Analysis+ Significant experience managing and motivating teams+ Quickly identifies patterns among problems & issues+ Makes timely decisions balancing systematic analysis+ Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues+ Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills+ Crisp and persuasive communication skills+ Critical & multi-level thinking (from strategic to tactical)Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
