Director, HR Business Partner – Global Operations

nnThis position leads the Human Resources function for Qorvo’s Global Operations (GO) group.

The HR Director will establish solid business partnerships and drive functional excellence for a business that spans across seven global manufacturing facilities with 5000+ employees across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The Director, HRCompany will provide strategic HR Business partner support for global manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, corporate site services, quality, and technology teams.  This position manages a team of HR Business Partners, reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and is an integral member of the HR leadership team.The HR Director will develop, implement, and validate Human Resources strategies, initiatives and programs aligned with short
– and long-term business plans.

He/she will also foster a culture that promotes employee engagement, continuous improvement, and strong customer focus.The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented HR professional with demonstrated success working in global, complex, and rapidly changing environments.nn nnKEY RESPONSIBILITIESnn nnPartner with the division leadership, functional leaders, and site managers to identify human resources programs and initiatives aligned with strategic and annual business objectivesDrive unified HR initiatives and plans with measurable objectives that support business, financial and employee engagement goalsDrive HR functional excellence through deployment of Qorvo programs, ensuring quality of process and content and alignment to achieve goals and objectivesManage, mentor, and develop skills of the Human Resources team to support business initiatives and goals including direct and indirect reportsBuild organizational capability through execution of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management, employee development, succession planning and retentionManage employee compensation and reward & recognition programs to drive a high-performance culture in support of business objectives, while ensuring all compensation programs are aligned to corporate policyCreate an environment of positive employee relations, keep confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and balance business needs with employee needsDevelop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading and coaching others through changeLead corporate HR special projects in partnership with the HR leadership team and HR Centers of Excellencenn nnREQUIREMENTSnn nnBachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or relevant certification in Human Resource Management or a related field preferred10+ years of increasing responsibility in Human Resources with solid knowledge of HR functions; prior experience as strategic HR Business Partner strongly preferredDemonstrated experience working and navigating globally, particularly in European and Asian manufacturing operations, markets, and culturesKnowledge of relevant local/state/federal/provincial employment lawsDemonstrated success in working with business leaders to develop and execute a progressive global HR strategyExceptional leader of people with proven capability to empower, motivate and develop high-performing teamsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills across all organizational levelsStrong drive for results and sense of urgency; data and metrics-drivennn
