Merchant Services-Executive Director, Product Director-New Methods of Payments

Position Summary As part of this transformation, JPMorgan Chase is seeking a uniquely talented & proven Executive Director
– Executive Director, New Methods of Payments.

This leader will drive a cross-functional effort to rapidly expand the scope of payment methods enabled in the Merchant Services ecosystem, including digital wallet, Buy Now Pay Later solutions, crypto and more.

This candidate will lead a small team responsible for delivering on a roadmap of Alternative Methods of Payment.

They will collaborate with Core Product delivery, Client Experience, Commercialization, Operations as well as our client-facing teams to ensure timely delivery and successful adoption by our merchants, Within They will also be responsible for managing relationships with the 3rd-party providers of methods if payment.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and self-motivated leader who designs customer-obsessed products, manages a product release plan, flexibly adapts to internal & market forces, and has superior influencing / relationship management skills.

Responsibilities: Work closely with cross functional partners and clients to understand merchant / client needs, changes in industry landscape, and help drive new methods of payment solutions that are meaningful for clients Manage the New Payment Methods roadmap balancing stakeholder inputs and MVP releases Partner with Product Delivery and Tech teams to enable new payment methods in our merchant ecosystem Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations for delivery issues Develop and execute go-to-market plans for the new methods of payments brought to market Manage internal risk and compliance review processes to support launch and ensure a strong control environment Manage day-to-day priorities in relation to new methods of payment by working closely with functional partners and by providing expert support to front, middle and back office.

Monitor industry assessment that provides detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices Partner with teams (product, design, technology, risk, legal, compliance, ops, marketing, sales…) to manage prioritization and resourcing Requirements: 10+ years product leadership experience in Payments and Digital Commerce Expertise in payments
– acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments Proven track record of managing new product launches / transformations of mission-critical payment platforms Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written) Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams Proven track record at leading high performing teams Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Travel requirement: approximately 25% (as health & travel conditions permit) JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
